February Year 3

Unknown to the Kree, the Black Panther stalks their hidden base waiting for the time to strike and rescue the Avengers. His path takes him to a meeting of sorts between the Kree General and a Kree scientist.

Kree Gen: I don't care beef up the power on the Destroyer's gauntlets or face my wrath once more!

Kree Sci: But sir, if we do that, the new circuitry could overload...

Kree Gen: (slapping the Scientist) Silence! Do as I say. The Avengers are in their cells and the Black Panther is on the run. There is no one to challenge the Destroyer until he adjusts to his new circuitry.

Kree Sci: Aye sir, it will be done.

The scientist departs to do his duty and the Black Panther follows him. The Scientist reworks the circuits which give the Destroyer powerful blasts from his gloves and when he is done he reenergizes the Destroyer. The Black Panther knows that now is the time to strike before the Destroyer adjusts to his new powers.

Kree Sci: The Black Panther! You are a fool, you alone are not capable of defeating the Destroyer and that was before his new powers. Prepare to die.

The Destroyer attacks the Black Panther and the Black Panther leads him on to the outside where he has more mobility. The Destroyer while more powerful seems to be heavely slowed by his new powers while in the state of confusion of how to work them. The battle last's for a very long time.

The whole battle the Black Panther is just staying out of the Destroyer's way while he wears himself down and overloads his circuits. Soon the Destroyer's gauntlets explode and the Destroyer fall's to the ground in a heap of useless junk. The Black Panther captures the Kree Scientist and get's access to the Kree's prisons.

Vision: T'challa! But how....?

T'Challa: The Destroyer wasn't all he was cracked up to be. I overloaded his circuits.

Vision: Well we still have work to be done.

The Black Panther along with the Avengers fight their way to the Kree Gen and when he see's there is no hope of victory this day he manages to escape along with a few of his men in a specialy designed ship. The Avengers are very pleased in the Black Panther and offer him membership........
