Page 1) Multi image page of armored car robbery in progress

Panel #1 :Armored car pulling away , two bodies in the street(This is all from an ariel view)third guard firing bullets from the street where he lays in a puddle of his own blood, clutching his leg.

Panel 2) Inside the passenger compartment :

Hood #1: "Haw Haw !! You see the look on that losers face when I plugged 'im? It was freakin' priceless !!"

Hood #2) "Yeah, yeah, I loved it ! Those mooks didn't know what hit 'em."

Panel 3) Yeah we struck fast as lightenin' and ...

(Loud boom above them)

Looking from the passenger compartment up we see the roof peeled back and there is Thor

Hood #2) (Small letters): "thunder."

Thor :"Stand thee down varlets, or verily I will give thee the same justice thou didst dispense to the poor guards back at the bank."

Hood #2 : "floor it Bennie, get us outta here!! This creep ain't no Spiderman, he can't hang onta the roof."

Bennie nods eagerly and begins zigzagging the armored car back and forth across the street, hitting vehicles and bouncing off walls.

Thor : "Zounds mortal fools !!"

Suddenly Thor is thrown from the truck to land against a wall hard. Instantly he is on his feet swinging Mjolnir and then he's off in hot pursuit.

Hood #1) "Where is he Sharif, is he comin' yet?"

Hood #2) "Shuddup and drive you idjit, I don't see 'im behind us ."

Hood #1 : "That's acause he's in fronna us Sharif !!"

Bennie turns around and sees Thor standing in front of the speeding Armored car, hammer whirling , pointed directly at them.

Hood #2 ;"Run this loser down man, kill'im."

Hood#1: "Okay man , will do."

The truck rams Thor and the whirling Mjolnir, only to be thrown backwards by the power of Thors mystic hammer, it rolls over on to its side and is still.

Thor: " Get out villains! Thou art still breathing which is more then can be said of thy victims!"

Thor pulls both men from the wreckage, bending and breaking the armored car apart as if it were tissue paper.

Later...

Lt Stone : "Thanks again Thunder God, if not for you these murderers would've gotten away with all this cash, and probably never've been found."

Thor:" What do you mean Lt.? Verily I am sure the Police dept. Would have caught these villains eventually."

Lt Stone :" Normally I'd say "yes" Thor, but this is the fifth such robbery in a month. The other four we never found hide nor hair of. I'm sure these simps aren't the masterminds here, but they are definitely connected to what ever's going on. M.O.'s the same in all the others."

Thor : " HHHhhhmmm, well Stone, if indeed thou dost need the Thunder Gods assistance with this then feel free to contact me through my companions at the Avengers."

Lt Stone: "What you mean you don't carry a beeper or nothin'?"

Thor: " Haha, (Slaps Stone on the back) No my friend, that I do not, but my Avengers communicard will suffice. Fare-thee-well!"

Swinging Mjolnir overhead Thor is gone. As Code Blue continues its cleanup.

Thor: (Verily I am indeed concerned for Code Blues problem with the various Armored car robberies. Mayhap I should contact daredevil or Spiderman , as they are more of an "Ear to the street" type of warrior then myself, and let them search for the perpetrators. Ah well tis a mystery for another day, I have my luncheon appointment to keep with an old friend at the address he requested below.)

Thor descends to the alley below, there he looks to make sure no one is watching and strikes his hammer to the ground once to become civilian identity, Sigurd Jarleson.

Thor: "Indeed my friend has a sense of humor!"

(Thor looks at the sign above the pub he's entering, it reads "Spear of Valhalla.")

A man sits at the rear of the bar as Sigurd/Thor enters, the man stands up and waves.

Man: " Sigurd, hey buddy! Over here!"

Sigurd/Thor: "Jerry Sapristi !! My old friend, it is so good to see you again!"

The two men shake hands and Thor/Sigurd joins Jerry at his table.

Thor: " How have you been Jerry? We haven't seen each other since...."

Jerry:" Yeah, I know, Eriks funeral. Poor kid, I miss him a lot sometimes."

Thor: "As do I my friend. He was always a good friend and his sense of humor was always there in the toughest of moments."

Jerry:" You sound like you knew him better then I realized Sig."

Thor: "Truthfully, we were good friends." ( Better then Jerry will ever know, as we had at one point shared our very souls while poor Erik had been laid low by a villain most foul.)

Jerry: "So what did you want to see me about Sig? It sounded pretty important on the phone."

Sigurd looks at Jerry solemnly a moment and then claps his hand on Jerry's shoulder.

Sigurd: "My friend, I wish to go into business, and I'd like to hire you as my foreman and my business manager."

Jerry drops his beer and his jaw as we switch scenes

Interlude #1

A darkened office in a recently purchased office building a shadowed figure goes over calculations

Shadowed man: "So, the accursed Thunder god stopped my hirelings today eh? Damn him!"

He pounds his steel desk with a fist, crushing it to the floor with one blow.

Shadowed man:"Damn him."

Interlude 2

Deep space and the Colonizers of Rigel, while always being a peaceful race, have never been one to run from a fight....Until now that is

Their ship is ravaged as energy lances through space all around them

Colonizer pilot: " Tana Nile, our ship is defenseless, the enemy has battered us to the brink of destruction, we must flee!!"

Tana Nile: " Then return us to the home world, we have no other choice. Before we enter warp space you must dispatch a Recorder to Earth. We need help, send him with this message, "Thor please help us, the terror is back."

Colonizer pilot : "Yes Tana Nile, it is done already."

Tana Nile: "Then get us away from here NOW pilot !!"

With a blaze of interstellar drive, the ship leaps forward as fiery energies from their unseen enemy engulf the spot it had last occupied.

Several hours have passed since we last saw Thor and Jerry, they have drank several pitchers of beer as is evidenced by the empty pitchers around the table

Jerry: "So you mean to tell me all this time you got big bucks, and now decide to use 'em?"

Thor : " Well Jerry , I have always felt that I liked to work with my fellow man and since I've now come back from a long trip abroad I feel I would like to start my own company, and considering your experience I feel you would be an asset when I wouldn't be there and could help run things in my stead ."

Jerry: " Well Sig, you're asking me to leave a company I've worked for a long time and to take a chance on maybe something that'll go bust real quick like. It's a lot to ask of a family man."

Sigurd:" Jerry my friend, the chance will be all mine. I guarantee you and your family will be financially cared for as long as need be if this venture fails, which I believe it will not."

Jerry: " You make a strong case buddy. Let me discuss it with the Mrs. And I'll get back to you in a day or two."

Sigurd: " That would be fine Jerry."

The two men shake hands and take their leave of the bar. As Sigurd walks out, a newsflash comes on to the TV

Newsman: "And this just in, The Avenger known as Thor is on a rampage as we speak , tearing up the lower westside of Manhattan."

Outside Sigurd walks in the opposite direction as Jerry , then when he is sure that he is alone, Sigurd ducks into an alleyway. Once there he extracts the walking stick from his backpack and taps it once, instantly Thor the Mighty returns!

Thor is flying away towards midtown Manhattan as people point and stare.

Thor: (Now I must do something I indeed dread more than facing a hundred Destroyers, I must seek out and speak to Amora.)

Thor lands in front of the Plaza Hotel

Thor: (speaking to a doorman as he touches down.) "Hello good sir, I seek the lady Amora, is she in?"

The mans face goes blank as his eyes stare straight ahead, then he answers in an entranced voice

Doorman: "Amora the Enchantress is in her penthouse suites Prince Thor, she awaits you."

Thor looks over the entranced man pitifully , shaking his head as he enters the hotel. Upon seeing him all the staff go into the same blank eyed trance.

Thor : ( Verily, she must have ensorcelled them all to react thusly to my appearance)

Thor enters an elevator. As he does the other passengers in the elevator eye him nervously then suddenly run out of the elevator at the next available stop.

Thor: (That was passing strange methinks.)

He exits on the next floor and then enters the penthouse that covers the entire floor. There waiting for him in her private suite is Amora the Enchantress

Amora: "So my prince, I see thou hadst had enough of thy rampage earlier.

Thor: (What does she speak of? Ah my rage at the armored car robbers earlier. Obviously it was on the news.)

Amora: "So Thor, what brings you to see the poor enchantress?"

As she speaks she circles Thor, running her index finger around his body

Thor: "I have come to speak to thee of our relationship Amora, the way our time together ended was in truth not to my liking. "

She stops and runs her finger down his chest.

Amora: " It took you long enough oh "Prince of Asgard" We have both been back here over a month."

Thor :" Watch thy tone with me women. (Thor grabs her hand as he speaks) By rights of blood I am still thy liege lord."

Amora: " Dog ! You disregard me and treat me as if I were some common mortal wench, how dare you !!"

Thor: "Hold thy tongue..."

Amora :" Or what you'll smack me like a foe? I think not ! Go , leave me! I have no desire to see your face any longer."

She turns her back as she speaks and points at the door.

Thor : "Is that what you wish Enchantress? Once Thor leaves have no doubt in thy mind I will not be returning."

Amora: " And why are you still speaking in Asgardian proper? Afraid to blend in hhhhmmm?"

Thor: "My speech pattern is what sets me apart Enchantress as thou well knows. I have spoken thus for centuries and have no interest in changing now ."

Amora: " Then get out "My Prince"(Sarcasm) I have had my fill of thee."

Thor: " As you wish."

Thor turns and walks toward the door, Amora suddenly reaches out and grabs his arm . Thor spins and she kisses him full and passionately.

Amora:" Something to remember me by my prince (This time without the sarcasm)."

Thor: " Nay women, something for thee to remember ME by."

Thor grabs Amora in a passionate embrace that makes the previous look like a sisterly kiss on the cheek.

Thor: " Now I take my leave of thee. Tell me now, or never speak of it again, if thou wouldst like me to return at a later time."

The Enchantress is dumbfounded for perhaps the first time in her many millennia long existence.

Amora:" Aye......my ...lord..."

Thor walks through the Enchantresses suite when a TV that was left on suddenly catches his eye

He stops dead in his tracks and stares.

Thor (Whispering) :" By my fathers beard!"

Amora enters behind the thunder god

Amora:"What are you so surprised at my lov-err my lord, it's only your earlier rage I had commented on."

Thor turns and silences her

Thor :" Raise the volume Amora."

Amora points a finger and the TV's volume comes up

Amora :" Better then a mortal remote control, eh?"

TV Announcer:" And the god of Thunder went on a rampage here , less then an hour ago. Overturning cars, smashing buildings and tearing up the street. Just as suddenly as he started he stopped his bizarre behavior and fled into the sky , screaming about finding a village to plunder."

Thor: " I must take my leave of thee Amora, in earnest this time."

Amora:( With her hands on hips) "What, don't tell me you fear the mortals reprisals? We are Asgardians, we need fear no one."

Thor :" Amora...., that was not me."

She stares at him at first with a faint smile, then suddenly she senses the truth of the matter.

Amora: "Then who?...."

Thor : " I know not Amora, but I must find out."

Just then the TV announcer comes back on

Announcer: "This just in, Thor is now tearing apart a warehouse area along the docks on the west side. Code Blue has been dispatched and....."

With a roar of displaced air Thor is gone, rocketing across Manhattan towards the dock area

Thor :( Verily, what does transpire here? Who is this powerful imposter ? )

Thor approaches the area the doppleganger was last seen, and there is utter destruction all around him

Thor: ( Where is my enemy? Where? There !!)

Thor looks around and sees his double tearing through the cops around him.

Thor : (There is something more then the passing familiar to this villain.)

The double of Thor fights savagely . As would a barbarian, yelling and howling as he throws his hammer and attacks the police in general. He wears long ponytails on either side of his face, his warriors garb is different from Thors, even to the coloring. And then suddenly the fog clears and Thor remembers

Thor : ( The franklin made universe, he was there. For some time my Avenger comrades thought him to be me.)

Thor : "Hold imposter, the son of Odin commands thee."

Thor hurls Mjolnir at the second Thor, hitting him square in the chest and carrying him 50' back along the docks

Thor II : "Ah a fool who thinks he is the god of thunder and not I. Time to teach thee a lesson dog."

He throws himself at Thor, who meets his foes charge. The resultant impact shatters windows for three blocks all around

Thor: " Stand thee down you barbaric oaf."

Thor fires a massive left to his foes face

Thor II: " Nay dog I will ravage this world as it has never seen, and none shall stop me."

He clamps both fists together and smashes upward from below his waist, catching Thor under the chin and hurling him back.

Thor : " Very well then dolt , let the battle be joined in earnest !!"

Thor fires a powerful blow with Mjolnir to his foes face

Thor: (Never have I fought A more bizarre battle ! Tis as if I peer in a mirror !) "How didst thou come to be here imposter?"

A tremendous roundhouse right staggers the otherworldly Thor backwards

Thor: "When last I saw thee I vaguely recall thee battling at my side 'gainst the mad Loki."

Thor II : "I know not what you speak of you simpering oaf ( He slams Thor back with his Mjolnir, all the while speaking to it as if it were a lover.) " I have never seen thy face before."

Thor II kicks Thor in the face before The real god of Thunder could regain his footing.

Thor :" Aaarrggh."

Thor II : Sing loud fool, pain awaits thee at the hands of the master.!"

He fires a powerful energy blast from his hammer directly at Thors face, this throws Thor off the dock and into the frigid waters.

Thor II: "Where art thou you whiney oaf? Whither hast thou gone? To thy death 'neath the foul river mayhap?"

Suddenly powerful hands break through the dock and grab the ankles of the imposter, literally pulling him through the dock, destroying it in one quick motion

Thor:" Enow scoundrel ! Tis time for a reckoning !"

Thor fires several powerful blows into the usurpers face and body

Thor II: " Bah, childs blows, feel a warriors wrath now."

Coldly , he grabs Thor by the throat and begins to squeeze. Thor slams both his arms upwards and twists himself as he does so, breaking the grip in one quick motion.

Thor II: " Bah a you fight as would a woman."

Thor: "A friend named Captain America showed me that move buffoon, his battle prowess would cause the stoutest of hearts to wither."

Thor II: "Wither THIS !! "

The imposter headbuts Thor, then head buts him again.

Thor II: "Fly now oaf, with out thy pale imitation of beloved Mjolnir."

He hurls the stunned thunder god from the water into the warehouses , collapsing several of them in a row

Lt Stone: "Code Blue, give Thor some time, fire on this maniac now!"

The assembled Code Blue team fires several exotic weapons at the savage Thor who laughs them off.

Thor II: "Those are not weapons fools, this is a weapon !!"

He whirls his hammer above his head, whipping up a whirlwind that picks Code Blue as well as the other Police and throws them all far out into the river.

Off panel voice:" Hold madman!"

The otherworld Thor turns to see a helmet less , torn caped Thundergod, his battered form obviously enraged , fury boiling out of every pore.

Thor: " Hold false thunderer ! Now we will finish this. And know ye this. The true God of Thunder will be the only one who walks away from this battle the other will be carried !"
