Group Affiliation: Previously a Captain in the Kree space fleet; posthumously made an honorary member of the Avengers

POWERS:

1. Body Power (Solar Battery): Dr. Benjamin Savannah's radiation treatment altered Mar-Vell's genetic structure so that he could absorb solar energy and convert it into the following abilities.
          i. Flight: Maximum speed: 600 mph. Hyper-Flight: 60x the speed of light (vacuum), 45x the speed of sound (atmosphere). PR 1/hour. Flight always leaves a glowing trail behind Mar-Vell.
          ii. Increased Strength: While he is wearing the Nega-Bands, Mar-Vell can press up to 15 tons (30,000 lbs), Basic HTH Damage: 3d10. Captain Marvel's Cosmic Awareness

2. Cosmic Awareness: Initial percentage die roll modifiers: +10/question asked, -15 Charisma Bonus, -10 Training Bonuses. Correct answer: 87%.

5. Natural Weaponry (Kree Soldier Combat Training): +4 to hit (includes Training Bonuses), +6 damage (includes Training Bonuses).

6. Special Weapon (Nega-Bands): Captain Marvel wears a pair of millennia old Kree Nega-Bands on each wrist. These nega-bands allow Mar-Vell to convert psionic energy into the following abilities.
          i. Adaptation: PR 1 for every 2 hours.
          ii. Flight: Maximum speed: 480 mph. Hyper-Flight: 48x the speed of light (vacuum), 60x the speed of sound (atmosphere). PR 1/hour. They also allowed Mar-Vell to exist unprotected in outer space without having to breathe. Mar-Vell wears his Nega-Bands converts psionic energy into physical strength.
          iii. Increased Strength: Maximum Carrying Capacity: 10 tons (20,000 lbs), Basic HTH Damage: 3d10. See Body Power (Solar Battery) for additional strength increase.
          iv. Invulnerability: 22 Points.
          v. Power Blast: +2 to hit (Training Bonuses), Range 22", Damage 1d20+1 (Training Bonus), PR 1/blast.

7. Optional Weakness (Special Requirement): For a while, Captain Marvel was trapped within the Negative Zone. During this period, he could only exit the Negative Zone if Rick Jones slammed his Kree wrist bands together initiating the change. An action is required to initiate the change and Rick Jones and Captain marvel exchange places. The nega-bands gave Mar-Vell and Rick Jones a shared telepathic link. The nega-bands also protect both men from the radiation from the Negative Zone. If this weakness is in play, then Captain Marvel does not have his Body Power (Solar Battery) powers.
